Solar Advanced Warning Systems Inc, (SAWS) provides an egress and ingress equipment alert system that makes work zones and production facilities safer through ITS technology. In today’s busy world, motorists need to get where they’re going quickly and efficiently, and construction work zones, and production facilities can often be hazardous locations for both worker and motorist. Large haul trucks and work vehicles need space and time to emerge from a stopped or slow position onto high speed main lines, and the traveling public are often unwilling to consider the time and space needed for these vehicles to safely exit from these hazardous positions.
SAWS Provides a safer egress by alerting a motorist when one of these events is happening within the work zone. Through radar and radio, frequency technology, our system captures an egress event and communicates it to the traveling public through advanced warning trailers and signs.
